Welcome to 2008, and despite all economists trying to talk us down into a recession I believe this year is going to be a fantastic year.

“Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right.”  Henry Ford

That is one of my favourite quotes of all time, and speaks volumes about the power of the mind. Your limitation of what you can achieve in life is purely down to the limits you impose on yourself. Just as talking yourself down into a hole will take you there! If these powers that be continue to tell us we’re on our way to a recession, just like we have apparently been for the past 4 or 5 years, then sooner or later people will start to listen to them and that is exactly where we will be.

To meet the demand of the many clients who requested that we launch a bookkeeping service in our Customer Satisfaction Survey last year, this month has seen the launch of Quick Bookkeeping. This service is primarily aimed towards supporting our accountancy clients who may occasionally need the support of a reliable and accurate bookkeeping service for their clients. We will happily sit behind the scenes, carrying out the bookkeeping requirements for your clients or if you prefer deal direct with your clients. The choice is yours. The time of year is approaching where the various business awards organisers are looking for applications, so it’s worth considering putting your company forward for some awards this year to raise your company profile. It is what we used to do a few years ago and paid dividends in getting Quick Formations plenty of media coverage, and raised our profile in the industry. The same can work for you, so dependant on what industry sector you work in have a look around and what awards your business may be eligible for entering and do just that.
